The outdated device-based license will be replaced on March 9, 2026. This created additional work for all parties involved and was no longer up to date. The user-based license offers many advantages for Polysun users:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current version can be downloaded from the portal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Polysun can be used independently of the device<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Team management can be carried out by users with administrator rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Users can be added more easily<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
How are users with administrator functions informed?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Key contacts with administrator functions are informed directly via the email address stored in Polysun. If the user registers for the first time with this email address on the Polysun portal, the user is assigned to the company account. The user (key contact) can add further users to the company account via an invitation link if the company has licenses for multiple users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a user with administrator privileges, proceed as follows:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
1) Open the user portal:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Open the new user portal. Use the email address to which the information was sent for your initial registration. Your license information is only automatically stored in the user portal for this email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
There are two ways to complete the initial registration:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
a) Use the above email address with one of the standard login methods such as Google, Microsoft, etc. In this case, you can select the appropriate provider and log in with your usual password. The password remains with your provider and is not shared with Polysun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
b) Register in the traditional way with the above email address and define a password.\u00a0\u00a0Please note that you must sign up<\/em> using the link at the bottom of the login page before logging in for the first time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
2) Check the number of user licenses <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the new user portal, you can see your currently licensed products in the \u201cLicenses\u201d section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3) Generate the invitation link and send it to the team members by email<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
In the \u201cMembers\u201d section<\/strong>, you can assign licenses to your team members and check the assignment of licenses and rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the \u201cDownload\u201d section<\/strong>, you can download the latest version of the desktop app to your device. Starting Monday, March 9 at 12:01 a.m., logging in with a username and password will be enabled in the latest version of the Polysun app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can then log in to the Polysun app with your email address and new password<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What does this mean for team members who use Polsun?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
You will be invited to your company account by your administrator\/key contact as described above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Transition phase<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
For several weeks, it will still be possible to log in with the previous device-based license code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This serves as a backup solution in case of any conversion problems. Access to Polysun can be obtained at any time using the old license system as described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
