Optionally, the controller can also control a mixing valve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The controller has 4 (plus 3 optional) analogic inputs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The controller has 2 (plus 2 optional) outputs, partially digital, partially analogic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heating loop cut-in and cut-off are based on thermostatic room temperature control. Enter either the weather data outdoor temperature or the 24-h mean outdoor temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Room-Temperature-Setting-[\u00b0C]\">Room Temperature Setting [\u00b0C]<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The value shows how high the room temperature setting is when people are present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Actual-Room-Temperature-[\u00b0C]\">Actual Room Temperature [\u00b0C]<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The value shows how high the actual average room temperature is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Flow-Rate-Settings-[l\/h]\">Flow Rate Settings [l\/h]<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The value shows the flow rate of the connected convectors. Enter the \u201cTotal design flow rate\u201d for the convector. This will be calculated from the convector properties stored in the catalog and the number of existing convectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Variable-Temperature-Setting-(Required-for-Mixing-Valve)\">Variable Temperature Setting (Required for Mixing Valve)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enter the inlet temperature setting for the convector. This value determines the maximum inlet temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Upper-Temperature-Level-(Required-for-Mixing-Valve)\">Upper Temperature Level (Required for Mixing Valve)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The value shows which components the upper temperature level for the mixing valve is being measured in. Select the appropriate inlet pipe to the mixing valve or <strong>the appropriate port on the tank<\/strong> (as shown in the Mixing Valve Controller section).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Lower-Temperature-Level-(Required-for-Mixing-Valve)\">Lower Temperature Level (Required for Mixing Valve)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The value shows which components the lower temperature level for the mixing valve is being measured in. Select the appropriate pipe to the mixing valve on \u201cInput X\u201c (as shown in the Mixing Valve Controller section).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Description-of-Control-Parameters\" style=\"font-size:30px\"><strong>Description of Control Parameters<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Description\">Description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201cdescription\u201d value enables the user to assign the controller any name or number. Polysun assigns a consecutive number as a standard feature as different controllers are added chronologically in the hydraulic system<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Sign-of-Output\">Sign of Output<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The term \u201cNormal\u201c means that digital output signals are controlled as intended in the switching logics. The term \u201cInverted\u201d means that the digital output signals are multiplied by -1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Heating-Loop-Activation-[\u00b0C]\">Heating Loop Activation [\u00b0C]<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the outdoor temperature drops below the specified value, the inlet temperature is calculated by means of the outdoor temperature and the inlet temperature setting. If the outdoor temperature exceeds the specified value, the inlet temperature is set to a minimum value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Cut-in-Hysteresis\">Cut-in Hysteresis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pump in the heating circuit cuts in if the actual room temperature lies below the room temperature setting plus the cut-in hysteresis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Cut-off-Hysteresis\">Cut-off Hysteresis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pump in the heating circuit cuts off if the actual room temperature lies above the room temperature setting plus the cut-off hysteresis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Output-values\" style=\"font-size:30px\"><strong>Output values<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Status-Pump-1\">Status Pump 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This digital output refers to the pump to be controlled within the heating loop. Select the relevant pump from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Status-Switch-2-(Optional)\">Status Switch 2 (Optional)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This digital output is activated just like the Status Pump 1 output. This output enables to control an additional component. For the switching valve \u201clogically one\u201d means that the output \u201cX\u201d on the mixing valve is open. Select the relevant component from the list as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Flow-Rate-Setting\">Flow Rate Setting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here, the value indicated for \u201cFlow rate\u201d is transferred to the pump. To this end, select the flow rate of the relevant pump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This output is only active if the option &#8220;Flow rate setting&#8221; has been selected in the field &#8220;Flow rate controlled&#8221; for the pump to be controlled; otherwise the pump settings will have priority over the analogue control outputs. Double click on the pump to check\/change settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Mixing-Valve-(Optional)\">Mixing Valve (Optional)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The required inlet temperature is calculated and the position of the mixing valve is accordingly regulated based on the outdoor temperature and the inlet temperature of the convector.
