The controller may be used for different components including the switching valve (see chapter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.velasolaris.com\/en\/handbuch\/controllers\/mixing-valve-controller\/\" data-type=\"handbuch\" data-id=\"71661\">Mixing valve controller<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The controller has 1 (plus 3 optional) analogic inputs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The controller has 1 (plus 1 optional) digital outputs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The switch cuts-in or off based on the comparison of two or four different temperatures. Enter a component from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Description-of-Control-Parameters\" style=\"font-size:30px\"><strong>Description of Control-Parameters<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Description\">Description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201cdescription\u201d value enables the user to assign controllers any name of number. Polysun assigns a consecutive number as a standard feature as different controllers are added chronologically in the hydraulic system<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Sign-of-the-Output\">Sign of the Output<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The term \u201cNormal\u201c means that digital output signals are controlled as intended in the switching logics. (Example: if X1&gt;Fixed value or if X1&gt;X2 the output Status Switch 1 is positive). The term \u201cInverted\u201d means that the digital output signals are multiplied by -1. (Example: if X1&gt;X2 the output Switch 1 is equal to zero). <strong>In case of inverted selection hysteresis may not be used.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Logical-Connection-Temperature-Sensor-1-and-3\">Logical Connection Temperature Sensor 1 and 3<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>None<br>The output is activated based on the requirements existing amongst \u201cTemperature sensor 1, Reference temperature, Temperature sensor 2 or Fixed temperature setting 1\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AND-Operation<br>The requirements existing between \u201cTemperature sensor 1, 2, Fixed temperature setting 1\u201c, <strong>AND <\/strong>\u201cTemperature sensor 3, 4, Fixed temperature setting 2\u201c must be met.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OR-Operation<br>The requirements existing between \u201cTemperature sensor 1, 2, Fixed temperature setting 1\u201c, <strong>OR <\/strong>\u201cTemperature sensor 3, 4, Fixed temperature setting 2\u201c must be met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Definition-of-Temperature-Setting\">Definition of Temperature Setting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fixed value<br>If the temperature measured by Temperature sensor 1 or 3 drops below the specified Fixed temperature setting 1 or 2, the controller output switches to \u201con\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Variable value<br>If the temperature measured by Temperature sensor 1 or 3 exceeds the temperature measured by Temperature sensor 2 or 4, the controller output switches to \u201don\u201c.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Use-of-Hysteresis\">Use of Hysteresis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If hysteresis is used the following applies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cut-in hysteresis [K]<br>If the temperature measured by Temperature sensor 1 or 3 exceeds the reference temperature by the specified temperature hysteresis, the controller output switches to \u201don\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut-off hysteresis [K]<br>If the temperature measured by Temperature sensor 1 or 3 drops below the reference value by the specified temperature hysteresis, the controller output switches to \u201doff\u201c.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Output-Values\" style=\"font-size:30px\"><strong>Output Values<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"Status-Switch-1\">Status Switch 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This digital output refers to the component to be controlled within the system.
