Polysun Basic Course: Simulation of Thermal and Photovoltaic Systems

With Polysun the planning of photovoltaic and thermal energy systems is supported by a large component database and predefined system templates.

In this course, you will learn the basic functionalities of the Polysun software. This will allow you to improve the use of Polysun for your own first projects and plan photovoltaic and thermal energy systems, using the predefined templates.

Content:

  • General introduction: project management, settings, weather data
  • Photovoltaics: inverter layout, yield calculation, self-consumption, batteries, electric vehicles
  • Thermal consumers: domestic hot water, space heating, swimming pool, process heat
  • Thermal components: solar thermal collectors, air-to-water heat pumps, boilers, storage tanks, etc.
  • Photovoltaics and thermal energy: reports, evaluations, graphics

Target group: This video tutorial and Q&A session are suitable for beginners. Basic knowledge in the use of the Polysun simulation software is imparted.

Scope of delivery: four hours of great service at a low price:

Unlimited access to three hours of training recording plus one hour online on the date specified above, during which you can ask personal questions about the respective training topic online and exchange ideas with a Polysun expert from Vela Solaris. As only three people are allowed to participate in each Q&A session, register quickly by sending an email to info@velasolaris.com or using the contact form. The links to participate in the Q&A session and to the training recording will be sent within 24 hours of registration confirmation.
