Resolve the challenges of the energy transition with Polysun

18. March, 16:00 - 17:15

Free webinar dedicated to energy professionals in the Netherlands and Belgium; in collaboration with experts from Zwolle and Middelburg

Get to know Polysun, the powerful simulation software for building-integrated energy systems! Polysun enables you to design energy systems using regularly updated product catalogues of solar thermal collectors, hybrid collectors (PVT), photovoltaic modules, inverters, batteries, air-source heat pumps, brine and water-source heat pumps and many more. Thanks to sophisticated controller strategies and detailed simulation time-step analysis it is possible to meet all the challenges of the energy market, from self-sufficient single-family to multi-family houses, from industrial applications to district heating, from power-grid congestion issues to energy hubs.

After a general introduction to the software, Jan Rolf van den Berg of the company ANT – Aanjagen Natuurlijke Technologieën from Zwolle will illustrate the challenges of the electric energy balance of a chalet park with a large photovoltaic installation, but no possibility to feed the energy into the public grid. Jan Rolf van den Berg will explain what options can be designed to avoid waste of electricity, increase the self-consumption and manage peak-shaving.

Polysun is also used successfully by many universities, as the true-to-reality depiction of the systems enhances the understanding of thermotechnical and electrical processes. The interactive user interface turns even reserved students into protagonists of the lecture: “learning by doing” as an indispensable added value to a merely academic education. Gudrun Kocher-Oberlehner from the University College Roosevelt in Middelburg will inform you about her experiences.

The webinar is free-of-charge and will be held in English and Dutch. Click on the following button to register and receive the access link:
